Saturday 8 June saw the first part of the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of FILA. Organising everything to perfection and managing the individual needs of our 200 guests was no easy matter, but I have to say that we did an excellent job! There were no hitches and the evening was spent enjoying very moving speeches, lots of laughs, good food and good music.
CEO Anna Strolego also highlighted that “this event was the outcome of a huge organisational effort that involved the energy and commitment of everyone and which showed, once again, that teamwork is the winning strategy for the success of any business.”
As Marketing Operations manager, I have to say that I am really satisfied! I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the work carried out by the entire marketing office, but especially my sister Federica Pettenon, who helped me to prepare one of the most successful “surprises”: the new FILA museum. We managed to recover lots of pieces from the history of FILA and exhibit them in an ideal itinerary that accompanies visitors on a journey of discovery starting with the origins of our company, via the evolution of our brand and our products, through to the solutions currently on the market. If you want to have a look as well, click here from some interesting photos!
After visiting the museum and the FILA production division, we moved to Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta to continue the party with a gala dinner.
Particularly moving was viewing of the new company video, which tells our story in 4 exciting minutes, a mix of past, present and future. Even our president Beniamino Pettenon was visibly moved.
Perfect organisation, fantastic weather, an exciting party… what more can we say?
Now we are again focused on the next event, to be held on 21, 22 and 23 June and with clients from all over the world as VIP guests. We are all ready to host them at FILA and in wonderful Venice for a weekend that promises to be spectacular. Keep following us, we’ll tell you how it went soon!
