Fila Master Treatment Specialists<\/strong> are often called on to carry out important work also outside Italy. This is the case with the splendid project completed by Master Treatment Specialist Roberto Rossetto<\/strong> (from the company Euganea Trattamenti<\/a>), in a private residence in the Be\u015fikta\u015f district, in the centre of Istanbul<\/strong>, with views over the natural port of the Golden Horn.<\/p>\n

A new build where various kinds of very fine, delicate Italian stone<\/strong> have been laid, requiring attentive, expert care: Vicenza Giallo Dorato stone, Vicenza Grigio stone, Marquina black marble and Carrara Statuario marble<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Vicenza Stone<\/strong> was pretreated<\/strong> with FILAPRW200<\/a> before laying to protect it from possible stains during installation. After laying, it was first thoroughly washed<\/strong> with FILAPS87<\/a> then rinsed with FILACLEANER<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The clean dry floor was then given a stain proof, dirt-repellent treatment with natural finish<\/strong> by applying one coat of FILAW68<\/a> (stain protector) followed by one coat of FILAJET<\/a> (dirt-repellent protector) and finally one of FILAMATT<\/a> (natural-effect finishing wax).<\/p>\n

In damp rooms, such as the Turkish bath and spa zone, the Marquina black marble<\/strong> was treated with Hydrorep<\/a> and Salvaterrazza<\/a>: two water-repellent protectors<\/strong> that prevent potential infiltrations and damage caused by damp without altering the material’s appearance.
\nWhereas Carrara Statuario Marble<\/strong> in the hammam was protected with FILAMP90<\/a>, the stain protector for polished stone.<\/p>\n

The outdoor surfaces in local acid-resistant grey stone<\/strong> were washed with Deterdek<\/a> and FILAW68<\/a> stain proof treatment was applied.
\nStill outside, there was also an area of decking<\/strong>, treated with FILAPRO130<\/a> protective base oil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
