{"id":4497,"date":"2015-03-25T11:42:35","date_gmt":"2015-03-25T10:42:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filasolutionsblog.com\/?p=4497"},"modified":"2021-07-28T18:49:47","modified_gmt":"2021-07-28T16:49:47","slug":"treatment-of-piazza-candiani-in-mestre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.filasolutions.com\/en\/treatment-of-piazza-candiani-in-mestre\/","title":{"rendered":"Treatment of Piazza Candiani in Mestre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our compliments go to our Master Treatment Specialist Roberto Rossetto, who took home the silver medal in the \u201c<a title=\"The Reggia di Venaria Reale in Turin wins the FILA treatment competition\" href=\"\/en\/2015\/02\/24\/the-reggia-di-venaria-reale-in-turin-wins-the-fila-treatment-competition\/\">Given the Royal Treatment 2014<\/a>\u201d Competition for <strong>treatment of Piazza Candiani<\/strong> in Mestre, one of the most original, fascinating examples of <strong>public art<\/strong> in Italy, by Maestro Luigi Gardenal.<\/p>\n<p>The 680,000 tesserae and 33 shades of <strong>marble<\/strong>, <strong>granite and Venetian enamel<\/strong> lend an intense colour effect to the huge <strong>mosaic<\/strong> in the square.<\/p>\n<p>The work carried out by our Master Treatment Specialist was fundamental in solving the problems that often emerge with <a title=\"New Floor: Why Washing After Laying is Essential\" href=\"\/en\/2014\/11\/26\/new-floor-why-washing-after-laying-is-essential\/\">newly laid paving<\/a>: the tesserae in marble, granite and Venetian enamel were dirty and ruined by <strong>laying residues<\/strong>, by the weather and by worksite foot traffic. In just 15 days, the square had to be restored to the original beauty of the materials used for the mosaic.<\/p>\n<p>Impeccable, difficult treatment, skilfully carried out by Roberto Rossetto who washed the 1,600 m\u00b2 surface using <a title=\"FILAPS87 degreasing detergent\" href=\"https:\/\/www.filasolutions.com\/en\/products\/full-range\/cleaning-products\/detergents\/filaps87.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>FILAPS87<\/strong><\/a> <strong>degreasing detergent<\/strong> with a single-brush machine and then rinsed the paving with<a title=\"How to Clean any Kind of Floor With Just 1 Product: FILACLEANER\" href=\"\/en\/2015\/02\/24\/how-to-clean-any-kind-of-floor-with-just-1-product-filacleaner\/\"><strong> FILACLEANER<\/strong><\/a> <strong>neutral detergent<\/strong>.
