Palazzo Scroffa underwent a meticulous restoration, with FILA’s skilled professional painter, Giuseppe Aiello, leading the effort. The restoration focused on reviving an 18th-century terracotta floor and cleaning and protecting newly built bathroom surfaces. 3. Canadian Museum for Human Rights
FILA’s Green Line provided surface protection at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights Garden of Contemplation . MP90 ECO XTREME , a solvent-free protector, preserves the basalt stone surfaces’ distinct tone while offering stain protection. 4. Jamie’s Italian Restaurant
At Jamie’s Italian in the UK, FILA’s tile protection and care regime, alongside In Situ London’s Moroccan cement tiles, created a stunning installation. The Hilton Hotel at Tower Bridge restaurant, designed by Stiff + Trevillion, features encaustic-style Moroccan tiles throughout the floors and walls below open serving counters. To safeguard and enhance these tiles, FILA’s treatments were crucial. During installation, PRW200 , a pre-grouting protector was applied, followed by deep cleaning with PS87 PRO . Finally, our eco-friendly stone sealant was expertly applied, safeguarding the tiles and grout lines against stains, thus ensuring enduring beauty and functionality.
5. Mohammad bin Rashid Library – Dubai
The Mohammed bin Rashid Library in Dubai, the Arab world’s largest, unveiled its doors in 2018 following vital treatments. 6. 100 Liverpool Street
At the forefront of sustainable architecture, 100 Liverpool Street stands as a beacon of eco-conscious design. This green project, developed by SRM Construction and designed by Hopkins Architects, boasts an ‘Outstanding’ BREEAM score, placing it in the UK’s top 1% of sustainable office buildings. FILA’s Green Line products were crucial in treating the 2,500 square meters of terrazzo flooring. Finally, FILA’s sustainable surface protector was applied to complete and reinforce the treatment of the terrace.
7. Saudi Pavilion at Dubai 2020 Expo
FILA Solutions collaborated with Stone Company Sital Marble to maintain the Saudi Pavilion ‘s futuristic appearance. Using DETERDEK PRO and CR10 liquid detergent for cleaning and epoxy residue removal, they prepared the surface for treatment with MP90 ECO XTREME . This effective water-and-oil repellent preserves the pavilion’s aesthetic and simplifies maintenance, earning LEED credits.

22 Bishopsgate , a prominent skyscraper in London’s financial district, rises 278 meters and has 62 storeys, making it the city’s second-largest skyscraper. Completed in December 2020, it offers 1,275 million square feet of high-spec office space and holds a BREEAM Excellent sustainability rating.
FILA was crucial in preserving the marble surfaces on levels 51 to 54, where Honed Bianco Lasa Classico tiles were installed. Collaborating with EP Ceramics at FILA, we used our game-changing water-based sealer to protect 2,100 square meters of marble flooring. This eco-friendly solution reduces absorption without altering the stone’s natural appearance, ensuring long-term durability and stain resistance.
11. Harrods
Harrods , located in Knightsbridge, London, is the world’s most iconic luxury department store. FILA partnered with Strata Tiles to recreate the famous H logo in natural stone mosaic chips in the seasonal books department. FILA used MP90 ECO XTREME to protect the 900 square meters of marble mosaic floor. This water-based protector was first applied as a pre-treatment to facilitate installation and safeguard the stone. It was then reapplied post-installation for added protection, ensuring the floor’s durability and pristine appearance.
12. Parade Cinema
Parade Cinema , located in Marlborough, Wiltshire, is a charming conversion of an old chapel built in 1817. After extensive renovations, the cinema celebrated its grand opening on September 18, 2021, with significant community involvement and fundraising efforts.
FILA collaborated with Hiscox Parlade, the site architect, to advise treating the new internal terracotta tiles and existing natural stone. PRW200 , a pre-grouting protector and FILA’s WET ECO sealer were applied to the terracotta. At the same time, the existing York stone received treatment with CLEANER PRO and FILA’s MP90 ECO XTREME sealer, ensuring both surfaces remain pristine and easy to maintain.

Opening in 2021, the new BT headquarters represents a modern architectural marvel. Spearheaded by The Olayan Group, this development boasts 29 luxurious apartments, setting a new standard for high-end rental homes in the capital. Collaborating with primary contractor Skanska and tiling sub-contractor Stone and Ceramic, FILA’s Surface Care products were pivotal in maintaining the diverse range of natural stone surfaces throughout the complex.
