Fila has received two awards in The Tile Association Awards 2014. Fila’s Green Line product range received ‘Best Environmental Initiative,’ whilst The Library of Birmingham – where a Fila surface care regime was specified – was awarded ‘Best use of tile in a commercial contract.’
Fila UK’s Sales & Technical Director, Lisa Breakspear, received the prestigious awards at the Hilton London Metropole on Friday afternoon. The event was attended by over 300 leading industry figures.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have won two categories in our industry awards. The eco-award recognizes the huge advantages – in terms of the environment, safety and performance – offered by Fila’s Green Line, whilst the commercial award, for The Library of Birmingham, is acknowledgement of a truly iconic application” commented Lisa.

“The excellent and good company at the Fila table composed of colleagues and customers, the typical English atmosphere and the location have spiced the experience that has been completed with the victory in the “best environmental initiative”. In addition to the emotion and pride to be part of the team and the company has won this prestigious award, I have had the honor to represent Fila in awarding the ” Excellence in multiple retailing “. This important award has went to N & C Tiles & Bathrooms. At this point , I expect N&C will be a Fila customer!
I thank the Pettenon family that gave me the honor to represent Fila in this important moment, a symbol and reward for the efforts done over the years by my colleagues in both the headquarters in Italy and on the field in the UK.
Now comes the hardest: to repeat the performance next year. We’ll do our best to keep in vogue Fila and its green products!
