As already mentioned in previous posts, once again this year FILA took part in the two main international sector fairs: Cersaie (in Bologna) and Marmomacc (in Verona). Let me now give you some details.
This time we saw a truly exceptional number of visitors wanting to know all about the many new entries on the stand, a fact also confirmed by our Sales Director, Francesco Pettenon: “we had around 20% more new contacts and potential clients than 2012 and it was a really busy week for us, but a very satisfying one too. We were visited by clients from all over the world, showing lots of interest in the new FILA products”.
Thanks to the contribution made by our hostesses, excellent catering and the welcome reserved on the Fila stand for our visitors, we received a good many compliments from established and new clients and also from manufacturers and all the technical partners with whom Fila works on projects and research in the field of surface treatment.
On the subject of our manufacturing partners: “This year, being at the fair was particularly important because it allowed us to celebrate the company’s 70th anniversary together with many of the most important manufacturers of ceramic tiles and natural stone, with whom we have collaborated for many years as technical partners, working to enhance surfaces”, adds Paolo Zuliani, FILAPRO division manager. Andrea Varagnolo, Sales & Marketing Manager, also stresses the relational value of these events: “Fairs are always an important moment for our company, because we meet clients in an atmosphere that is decidedly different from the everyday one, less formal you could say, more cordial and therefore in a simpler relational context. The most interesting part of all this, in my opinion is that this is when all the value of client loyalty really shows itself. Despite the informality, we do however do business… and how! Never have we had a Cersaie and Marmomacc like this year. In addition to beating all records in numbers from previous fairs, as we now follow up the clients we met on our stands, we are becoming aware of the quality of these contacts. ”
Our new products were all very well received, in particular FILAMP90 ECO PLUS, the solvent-free stain protector for polished and unpolished materials and FILANO DROPS, the anti-water drop protective detergent for showers and glass, at the moment only marketed in Italy.
Another very interesting feature was without doubt the new Fila APP for all smartphones and tablets, a way for end users to check the treatment system best suited to their needs in a few easy steps. It also works out the amount of product needed.
