Silicone is one of the most commonly used products by those who enjoy making small home repairs, but removing it effectively is often a difficult task. Silicone can in fact form very resistant stains and rings, as also occurs quite often with glue and sticky tape.
So do we have to give up on all the odd jobs at home because of a fear of silicone stains? Certainly not, just use ZEROSIL, FILA’s silicone remover: thanks to the specific formulation of ZEROSIL, silicone stains will no longer be a problem!

In the case of particularly larger residues, firstly remove as much residue as possible using a suitable sharp tool (e.g. box cutter, knife, blade) being careful not to damage the surface, then shake the bottle well and apply the pure product so as to completely cover every silicone residue. Wait about 20 minutes, then use the spatula provided in the kit to detach the dissolved residues and gather them up with a cloth or absorbent paper.

Same issue here as many. Due to the use of cement and sharp sand to lay the tiles, some stains are really stubborn to remove. Tried brick and patio cleaner and nothing worked. Even jet spray using my powerful Karcher. Help!

Hi – I have recently had some porcelain paving laid – these were laid on a bed of sand and cement and coated with unbind adhesive – they were then grouted (with waterproof grout). Whilst the builder hosed down the tiles after laying – there are some spots on the surface that are proving difficult to remove – I have used brick acid on the grout, which has broken down and scrubbed off – the bedding/unibond spots are the ones causing problems.
Any advice on how to tackle these would be appreciated

Hi,
I am in the same boat as most of the people above. I have had newly laid porcelain tiles laid in my garden and there are areas which has cement residue and slurry bonding agent still on. I have tried using a jet wash on them and didnt have any joy. Could you help with this please?
